These 3 morons from Columbia, MO haven't been doing too bad.Opening for a wide range of famous (Motorhead, Faster Pussycat) and the not so famous but equally rocking, (Jucifer, Dysrythmia, The Cripplers, Lo Freq, Low Twelve) Slugtrail have been leaving their mark every where their slimy asses are let out of the van.
Invisible records put 3 Slugtrail numbers on their "Notes from thee Real Underground 4", a compilation of 18 mid-western metal, techno-core, and all around weird shit,(2002)Heavycore got them on their "Core til Death" compilation of brutal metal along with Pro Pain, Malevolent Creation and Low Twelve,(2001)and Slugtrail are also included on the "Expo of the Extreme 2" comp cd along side Motorhead, The Dwarves, and Wayne Kramer.(MC5)(1999)
Slugtrail recently (2003) were the project of independent film maker Chip Gubera. Chip filmed their first video "Lick" (Notes from thee real underground 4, Invisible records) and the song was used in his disturbing short flick "The Wilding".
They also performed for the Kindred Film Festival, The Expo of the Extreme 2, and have their song "Rising Man" in King Solomon's animated independent insanity film "Drastic".
Slugtrail play any gig that comes their way, they're constantly playing for peanuts and make fans out of folks that usually don't like violent rock music. They are pretty damn ugly,(except for Wesley) so don't expect sexy young men playing Creed like pop music. Loud, brutal, yet very diversified Slugtrail will beat you into submission and you will like it.
